About the plants...

Each medicinal plant has a particular "target" (liver, heart, stomach, kidney) but also exerts action on vital functions such as circulation, digestion, nervous, etc.. So when you have urinary retention and cardiac failure, for example; Cecropia is both a diuretic and cardiotonic, instead of Equiseto because it is only diuretic. If lack of appetite and suffers of stomach pain, it will be better Cuasia than Ajenjo, etc.
